North Korea launches a rocket and the U.N. Security Council meets. And takes no action. They had plenty of warning. I mean, I knew they were planning to do it surely the geniuses at the U.N. knew it. But they couldn't even come up with a strongly worded letter:
A U.N. Security Council meeting on Sunday decided on no immediate action against North Korea for its rocket launch but agreed to continue discussions on what response it should make given the "serious situation."
Not to worry, however. They are going to continue to consult on the matter:
"Members of the Security Council agreed to continue consultations on the appropriate reaction by the council in accordance with its responsibilities given the urgency of the matter...
