Hi,

Found you through Twitter. I just wanted to thank you for posting this video. I remember the Paul Potts story, from "Britain's Got Talent" a year or so back, and this Susan Boyle is every bit as amazing. I watched the clip with a big grin on my face and tears in my eyes the whole time.

Thanks for a great start to my day!

Don

(I attempted several times to post this before, but I'll try again.)

I had to watch and listen several times because this video is SOOOOOO compelling. It’s difficult to find the right words to say what I feel, but I’ll take a stab at it.

Susan Boyle is living proof that one doesn’t need to be young and have drop-dead looks if they have talent. She has more than talent. She has a wonderful personality and she has gumption. On top of that she has a dream, and I hope she is given an opportunity to realize her dream.

ConservativePup, I remember Paul Potts too! I'm so glad it made you smile (and cry, in a good way!), with all the negative out there it's great to have something to cheer about. I visited your blog and I love it. Very nice to meet you! And thank you for the kind words.

Julie

Hi, Don! I knew you'd love it and you describe it perfectly. I watched it several times too and I'll watch it again.

It's never too late to dream. I too hope she realizes hers. I will be following the show and update her progress on the blog. Can't wait to hear what she sings next!

The Federalist Papers

  • Degree of Madness
"...... ambitious encroachments of the federal government, on the authority of the State governments, would not excite the opposition of a single State, or of a few States only. They would be signals of general alarm.....But what DEGREE OF MADNESS could ever drive the federal government to such an extremity." Federalist #46 James Madison
