Or else Hillary, "I don't recall", Clinton forgot what she said in July. Or maybe someone took a poll on whether or not voters think we should negotiate with Iran, and the voters said yes. Maybe she got a call from China. Whatever, Hillary now says she would negotiate with Iran "with no conditions":
Hillary Rodham Clinton called Barack Obama naive when he said he'd meet with the leaders of Iran without precondition. Now she says she'd do the same thing, too.
During a Democratic presidential debate in July, Obama said he would be willing to meet without precondition in the first year of his presidency with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea.
Standing with him on stage, Clinton said she would first send envoys to test the waters and called Obama's position irresponsible and naive.
But asked about it Thursday by a voter, the New York senator said twice that she, too, would negotiate with Iran "with no conditions."
"I would engage in negotiations with Iran, with no conditions, because we don't really understand how Iran works. We think we do, from the outside, but I think that is misleading," she said at an apple orchard.
Oops.
Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson later sought to clarify her comments, saying that while she believes in diplomatic engagement with Iran, "she does not agree with Senator Obama ... that the United States president should precommit to meeting directly with Mr. Ahmadinejad."
The smartest woman in the world.
I got cold chills the other day when I saw her on tv yelling, "Hold on! I'm coming!" I'd almost like to see Gore run, just to annoy her!

Oh Lord, I missed that. She really said (yelled) "Hold on, I'm coming"? That's a hoot. I'd be saying "Thanks for the warning"!

If it was on TV she couldn't have been in bed at the time I suppose. :-)

I don't remember where she was--maybe Iowa? But yes, she was yelling it and people were cheering! Made me feel sick to my stomach!
Don, Don, Don!
