California courts and judges make some weird decisions, probably because the decision-makers are weird. There was another ruling handed down on the left coast as reported by AP, and here’s a snippet from the article:
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The Bush administration can go ahead with a pilot program to allow as many as 100 Mexican trucking companies to freely haul their cargo anywhere within the U.S. for the next year, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied a request made by the Teamsters union, the Sierra Club and the nonprofit Public Citizen to halt the program.

So, unions were on the losing side in both cases, but more importantly we Americans also lost.

Sorry about the triple posting. The way it happened was after posting it, I tried to return to the previous page by clicking the "Back" arrow on my browser, but it didn't work, so I clicked it again and it still didn't work. In order to get back, I finally clicked on my bookmark of your blog.

I'll fix the triple posts. I've had the same problem.

As for the ruling on the truckers, the 9th Circuit again showed its colors...Both rulings favored those south of the border. I'm sure they were agonized to rule against the unions. The unions did not lose the immigration enforcement case though, they were the ones who brought the lawsuit against the Bush administration. I guess they're trying to figure out how to unionize the illegals. (Keeping in mind, the 9th Circuit hasn't actually ruled yet, they're just postponing it until Oct. 1)

Is Bush getting us ready for the NAU?

And are the Mexican trucks going to be checked for safety as we do our trucks?

Are the trucks going to be checked for illegals and drugs?

And are the drivers going to run through a checkline like we do at the airports?

If not, why not?

Its a do it yourself situation. If you do not do it yourself it will not get done.
True Americans should boycott anything illegal and not buy cheap products.
Vote out anyone pro illegal anything. Utilize wehirealiens.com

For what it's worth, I make it a point to check all fresh fruits and vegetables before I buy them. If country of origin is not indicated, I won't buy it. I will only buy what's produced in the USA.

It all starts with crackdown on giving jobs and benefits to illegals. If we don't do this America will be doomed. We will end up with them staying and more to come, we will end up with America looking like Los Angeles, ie like a huge Mexican third wolrd city

maybe I'm missing somtnhieg, but it clearly looks like the first guy fumbles for a card key in his right pocket, takes it out and swipes it. Then they just stroll in. Why not just check the security computer to see who came in then? Was it a stolen key or is this an inside job?Neither of these guys look like the guy in the iSight photo, though that doesn't necessarily mean anything. They could have given it away or sold it. I'm not saying you're wrong, but somtnhieg is fishy here.

The Federalist Papers

  • Degree of Madness
"...... ambitious encroachments of the federal government, on the authority of the State governments, would not excite the opposition of a single State, or of a few States only. They would be signals of general alarm.....But what DEGREE OF MADNESS could ever drive the federal government to such an extremity." Federalist #46 James Madison
