Bomb-rigged cars, a Jeep in flames, doctors committing acts of terrorism. Do not despair. Britain's new Prime Minister is on the case. The most important thing to remember immediately following a foiled terror plot is what not to call the terrorists. Gordon Brown has that covered. Do not call them Muslims. The second most important thing to remember is that Tony Blair is no longer Prime Minister. He is gone and he took the "War on Terror" with him. Everybody knows, the best way to fight terrorism is:
...to improve community relations and avoid offending Muslims...
Gordon Brown is setting a new tone in Britain. A "consensual" tone:
Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in connection with the terrorism crisis.
The Prime Minister has also instructed his team – including new Home Secretary Jacqui Smith – that the phrase “war on terror” is to be dropped.
Brown has said it's OK to use the phrase "war on crocodiles"
