When Nancy Pelosi was interviewed by Fox News today she made this comment about the war in Iraq:
The point is this isn't a war to win. It's a situation to be solved.
Sort of like solving a puzzle, I guess. Not much of a puzzle for Pelosi of course. All we have to do is leave Iraq and the pieces will just fall into place. And the Democrats can get back to the important business of turning the United States of American into the Happy place, with "A New Direction for America". What the Democrats believe:
Democrats believe that American needs - and Americans deserve - a New Direction that provides security, prosperity, and opportunity for all. House Democrats, 109th Congress
There you have it, the Democrats are going to provide security, prosperity and opportunity. Hey, Nancy, once we get the security and prosperity, we won't need the opportunity. This New Direction thing sounds great, though. When do I get my check?
