NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said Wednesday that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's speech at the U.N. calling President George W. Bush "the devil" doesn't deserve a response.
"We're not going to address that kind of comic strip approach to international affairs," Bolton said during a televised press conference.
John Bolton, ya gotta love him.
From Fox News:
NEW YORK — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took his verbal battle with President Bush to the floor of the United Nations Wednesday, calling Bush "the devil" during an insult-riddled address to the General Assembly.
"The devil came here yesterday" Chavez said, gesturing to where Bush had stood during his speech on Tuesday. "He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world."
[...]
He also said the U.N. in its current system "doesn't work" and is "antidemocratic." He called for reform, saying the U.S. government's "immoral veto" had allowed recent Israeli bombings of Lebanon to continue unabated for more than a month.
"Venezuela once again proposes today that we reform the United Nations," he said.
This sorry thug dictator has no qualms about insulting the President of the United States, on US soil no less. The reason is simple, most in attendance agreed with him. He was applauded by the UN Assembly.
Chavez is a lunatic from hell. And he has many moonbat fans in the US. Who can forget this? (Click to enlarge if you can stomach it). What a pair.
Gag a maggot.
But the Unhinged one did say something I whole-heartedly agree with:
He later proposed that the United Nations move its headquarters from New York to Venezuela.
The sooner the better. Watch the video at Michelle's
